More than 1,700 people in Belgorod were evicted from the place where the ammunition crater was found. This was announced on January 22 by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"The operational headquarters of the city administration has been deployed. At the moment, more than 1,700 people have been resettled, and about 50 residents are in temporary accommodation," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

He added that traffic was blocked in the work area. On the section of Gubkin Street from Sportivnaya to Budyonny, the governor specified.

An ammunition crater was discovered in Belgorod on January 21. It was noted that explosives experts from the Ministry of Defense and all emergency services are working at the site. Gladkov also pointed out that there were no casualties.
