In Chelyabinsk, the FSB revealed fraud in metallurgy in the amount of over 25 million rubles

Employees of the Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region revealed fraud at the Chelyabinsk Electrometallurgical Combine (CHEMK), for a preliminary amount of over 25 million rubles. This was reported on January 22 in the press service of the FSB in the region.

"Employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Chelyabinsk region stopped the illegal activities of four initiators of an interregional organized criminal group, expressed in committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of Russia ("Embezzlement on an especially large scale")," the press service told TASS.

According to the FSB, two employees of the plant were in a criminal conspiracy with two representatives of commercial companies to steal ferroalloy products. The ministry clarified that some of the alloys intended for the execution of the state order were replaced with metal products of inferior quality.
