If the Management Companies (CC) did not sprinkle sand and reagents on the paths in the yard with ice, then Russian citizens can file a complaint with the State Housing Inspectorate. This was announced on January 22 by Vladimir Koshelev, first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing and Communal Services.

"The obligation of the management company to sprinkle sand or reagent on paths in the yard to prevent slipping and injury in the icy conditions is fixed in the rules and regulations for the technical operation of housing stock. <...> In case of violation of this norm, residents can file a complaint with the State Housing Inspectorate," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.

It is noted that the fight against ice and snow removal should be carried out daily.

Earlier, on January 7, the State Duma told about the procedure for cleaning the house territory on public holidays. According to him, the Management Committee or HOA are responsible for the order on land plots adjacent to apartment buildings, which receive a monthly fee from tenants for this.
