Balynin reported five long weekends in Russia in 2025
Residents of Russia will have five long days off in 2026. This was announced on January 22 by Igor Balynin, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Finance at the Finance Faculty of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation.
"We are expected five times for three consecutive weekends: from February 21 to 23, from March 7 to March 9, from May 1 to May 3, from May 9 to May 11, from June 12 to June 14," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.
It is noted that November 4 this year will be a day off, and the next New Year holidays will be held from December 31, 2026 to January 10, 2027.
