On January 21, the Russian music group "Disco Accident" ironically commented to Izvestia on the situation around the alleged plagiarism of one of its songs by a Moldovan performer.

Earlier, information appeared on the Network that the song "Viva, Moldova" by Moldovan singer Satoshi, with whom he will go to the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, is very similar to the track "Disco accident" "Opa".

"We are being asked how we feel about this, whether we will <...> sue for plagiarism. Guys, it's very easy to plagiarize the "Disco accident". We have forbidden words like oop-oop. Come on, come on," the band members said.

The musicians also noted that they were pleased if, when creating a song for Eurovision, Moldovan colleagues thought about the "Disco accident". They jokingly offered to record themselves as co-authors of the song.

In October last year, singer and Internet poet Sergey Krotikov accused singer Irina Allegrova and composer Igor Krutoy of plagiarism. According to him, Allegrova's new song "Alone" is his poem, written back in 2008.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
