Temporary restrictions on the reception and release of civil aircraft were introduced at Sochi airport. This was announced on January 21 by the representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako.

According to him, these restrictions are necessary for the safety of aircraft flights.

Earlier that day, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency said that similar measures had been introduced at Gelendzhik Airport. In addition, restrictions were introduced in Kazan. They were later removed.
