The statement by US President Donald Trump about the use of "unprecedented weapons" by Americans in Venezuela is not true. According to him, during the seizure of the palace of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, the US military used complex tactics, including the preliminary disabling of air defense systems for the unhindered landing of special forces, as well as the use of electronic jamming devices that cause physiological reactions in people — vomiting, dizziness and demoralization.
"It's not a secret, it's a used weapon. The world knows about it. These tests are underway, so there was nothing so supernatural. We know all this and other superpowers know it. Americans tend to exaggerate everything," Bizhev said.
He also drew a parallel with Russian developments, saying that, following this logic, one could argue that the Russian Avangard, Dagger or Iskander tactical missile systems are also "unprecedented."
