The expert named the cheapest used cars in Russia

Since the beginning of the year, the prices of used cars have decreased, most of all it is felt in the middle and above-average segments. In some cases, the models have become cheaper by 150-200 thousand rubles, but the cost of budget cars on the "secondary market" has hardly changed. This was stated by Vadim Chernousov, Director of the Used Car Sales Department at Rolf.

According to him, the price reduction is most noticeable for the Geely Monjaro, Toyota Camry, LiXiang L7 and LiXiang L9 models. At the same time, this indicator has hardly changed for Geely Coolray.

"At the beginning of the year, the used car market was traditionally in low season, and demand is low now. This is probably the best time to buy a used car. We expect that starting in February, prices may start to rise due to increased demand," Rossiyskaya Gazeta quoted Chernousov as saying on January 21.

The expert suggested that over the course of the year, the increase in the cost of used cars will be proportional to annual inflation and will not exceed 8-10% in the absence of new factors affecting the market. However, if there is a shortage and an increase in prices in the primary market, this will affect the secondary market as well.
