Trump urged Europe to deal with the Ukrainian issue
The United States should not deal with Ukraine, this is Europe's business. This was announced on January 21 by the American leader Donald Trump.
"They don't appreciate what we do. I'm talking about NATO, I'm talking about Europe. They should be dealing with Ukraine, but we shouldn't," Trump said.
The US President noted that the United States is far from Ukraine and is separated by a large ocean.
"We have nothing to do with this," he concluded.
Earlier in the day, The New York Times reported that Trump had threatened to respond with "armageddon" and stop aid to Ukraine in response to the European Union's "trade bazooka." The author of the article noted that the decision to stop aid to Kiev would have a bad effect on the United States. According to him, in this case, transatlantic relations will fall apart, while trade markets may also collapse.
