The Tu-95MS strategic missile carriers completed an 11-hour scheduled flight over the neutral waters of the Sea of Japan. This was announced on January 21 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"Fighter escort was provided by the crews of Su-35s and Su-30sm aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.
