The media reported on the ban on photographing plenary sessions in the State Duma
In the State Duma (State Duma), photojournalists were banned from filming the plenary sessions. This was reported by Vedomosti on January 21, citing sources in the lower house.
"Since January 21, photographers have been banned from the balcony. Only the operators remained there," the article says.
The duration of the restrictions is not yet known. The press service of the lower house explained that initially the balcony in the meeting room was intended for cameramen of federal channels, and this mode of operation came into force on January 21, Kommersant adds.
Earlier, on January 14, State Duma deputy Artyom Kiryanov explained the photo showing the jacket during the plenary session of the State Duma with his work on combating counterfeit products. The deputy noted that the situation turned out to be ridiculous, and colleagues even started asking if he had bought the jacket.
