- The examination revealed the state of passion in Namin's stepson at the time of the double murder
The defense of Roman Tkachenko, the stepson of rock musician Stas Namin (real name is Anastas Mikoyan), stated that at the time of the murder of his brother and grandmother, he was in a state of passion, which was confirmed by the results of a psychological and psychiatric examination. This was announced on January 21 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.
"Tkachenko <...> was in a state of passion, which proceeded according to the mechanism of cumulative affect with an atypical nature of the course," the lawyer clarified.
In turn, Tkachenko's mother is convinced that her son was in an inadequate condition. According to her, he loved his grandmother and brother.
Earlier, on January 15, a correspondent for Izvestia reported that Tkachenko, accused of murdering his brother and grandmother, wanted to commit suicide because of loneliness. Testifying, Tkachenko's friend said that he had twice tried to take his own life. The man noted that the defendant had changed a lot after breaking up with the girl, but no one noticed unjustified aggression behind him.
In December 2025, it was noted that Tkachenko's arrest was extended in the case of the murder of his grandmother and brother until April 1 of this year. At the same time, Tkachenko's defense insisted on a milder measure of restraint, unrelated to detention, due to the psychological state of the defendant.
