Analysts named the best-selling used cars for 1-2 million rubles in Russia
Domestic cars with faster mileage than others are sold in the price range from 1 to 2 million rubles. Avito Auto experts told Izvestia about this on January 21.
According to their data, in 2025, Lada cars had the shortest exposure time in the secondary market (the time for placing ads on the platform), they sold 16.8% faster than the segment average. Geely cars found a new owner 11.4% faster than average, Kia — 11.3%, Hyundai — 10.7%, Chery — 10.2%.
Lada Vesta was selling particularly fast among the models (-28.1% compared to the average). This is followed by Kia Rio X-Line (-24.3%), Hyundai Creta (-21.7%) and Kia Rio (-20.1%), as well as Volkswagen Polo (-18.2%) and Hyundai Solaris (-18.1%). The top ten also included Renault Sandero Stepway (-17.5%), Kia Rio X (-17%), Skoda Rapid (-16.8%) and Renault Duster (-15.9%).
Experts noted that over the year, Haval, Chery and Geely cars began to sell faster on the secondary market. Among the models, the leaders in dynamics were Haval Jolion (-24.5%) and F7 (-19.8%), Renault Kaptur and Kia Rio X-Line (10% each) and Hyundai Creta (-8.8%).
According to analysts, the reduction in the sale time of cars of some popular Chinese brands is due to both a twofold increase in resale offers and an increase in demand for them over the past year. They became especially actively interested in them in the autumn against the background of the traditional seasonal surge in buyer activity, reduction of the key rate and customs tariff changes.
Earlier, on January 19, it was reported that average car prices in the Russian secondary market decreased by 5.1% at the end of 2025 compared to the first quarter. The average price was 750 thousand rubles, and demand in October — December was 12.3% higher than in the third quarter. Compared to the first quarter, demand increased by 6.9%.
