The owner of a campsite in the Chelyabinsk region is awaiting trial for the death of a child

In the Chelyabinsk region, the Kunashaksky District Court received the materials of the case filed against the owner of the Kaldy campsite. During a vacation at this campsite, a child drowned in the lake.

According to the <url> news agency, with reference to the press service of the regional prosecutor's office, the indictment in the criminal case against individual entrepreneur Natalie Desyatkova has been approved. She is charged under the article "Provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, resulting in the death of a person by negligence."

The incident occurred on August 1, 2025. A four-year-old boy drowned in Lake Kaldy. According to the investigation, it was Desyatkova who was responsible for his death, as she did not organize the duty of rescuers at the post.

Earlier it was reported that in August, two boys aged 12 and 14 drowned while fishing in the Amur River in the Khabarovsk Territory. The children were swept under the water due to the strong current.
