A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. The enemy lost up to 160 men, a tank, an armored combat vehicle, 10 vehicles, a Croatian-made RAK-SA-12 multiple rocket launcher, four field artillery guns and an electronic warfare (EW) station. Three warehouses of material assets were destroyed.

The military personnel of the Zapad group of forces have improved their tactical situation. Ukrainian units in the settlements of the DPR and the Kharkiv region were hit. The enemy's losses amounted to 200 soldiers, two armored combat vehicles, 15 vehicles and two artillery pieces. An electronic warfare station and four ammunition depots were destroyed.

The southern group of troops improved the situation along the front line and defeated the enemy in the area of the DPR settlements. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost over 185 militants, two armored personnel carriers, including a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, nine armored combat vehicles, nine vehicles and three field artillery pieces, including a 155-mm American self-propelled artillery mount Paladin. Two electronic warfare stations and two material depots were destroyed.

The Center group of troops occupied more advantageous positions and frontiers, and also hit units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the Azov special forces brigade (recognized as a terrorist organization in the Russian Federation), in a number of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 395 soldiers, six armored combat vehicles, 20 vehicles, seven artillery pieces, including two 155-mm Paladin self-propelled artillery units manufactured in the United States and two multiple rocket launchers "Grad".

The units of the Vostok group of forces continued to advance into the depth of the enemy's defenses and defeated the Armed Forces of Ukraine's manpower and equipment in the areas of the Zaporozhye and Dnipropetrovsk regions. The enemy lost up to 260 men, two tanks, an armored personnel carrier, 13 vehicles, a field artillery cannon and a Grad multiple rocket launcher.

Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the mountain assault brigade and the coastal defense brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Novoyakovlevka, Magdalinovka, Zaporizhia region and Sadovoye, Kherson region. More than 60 Ukrainian militants, nine vehicles, a 155-mm Krab self-propelled artillery system made in Poland, four electronic warfare stations, a P-18 radar station and a warehouse of materiel were destroyed.

Operational-tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation defeated a storage depot for barrage ammunition, pre-flight training and launch sites for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, energy infrastructure facilities used in the interests of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as temporary locations of Ukrainian armed forces and foreign mercenaries in 144 areas.

Four guided aerial bombs, 20 US-made HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, three Neptune long-range guided missiles and 370 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense systems.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special military operation, 670 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 110,524 unmanned aerial vehicles, 646 anti-aircraft missile systems, 27,248 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,648 multiple rocket launchers, 32,731 field artillery and mortars, 52462 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
