On January 21, Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), commented on rumors about tension in relations between Germany and France amid US pressure on the European Union (EU) over the situation around Greenland and trade duties.

Earlier, Politico wrote an article that spoke about the tension in Franco-German relations, which prevent the EU from resisting US President Donald Trump's tariffs, as well as responding to the threat from Greenland. The head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund has attached his message to the relevant news.

"Divisions within divisions," Dmitriev wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

The news is being updated.
