Lottery funds helped to cover the expenses of a social home in Moscow
A portion of the funds raised from the sale of tickets for the charity Easter lottery "Russian Lotto" in 2025, managed to cover a significant portion of the annual expenses of the St. Sophia Social Home in Moscow. This was reported in the Stoloto press service.
This is the first and only non-governmental, low-maintenance family-type home in Russia for cohabitation of orphans with special needs and adult pupils with severe structural defects. The St. Sophia Social House has already received financial assistance from the Easter charity editions of the Russian Lotto in 2023 and 2024.
"The participants of the Easter edition supported the wards and staff of the house, so that the social home has everything you need, and the center's staff are paid for their hard and important work," said Oksana Tubman, Director of sponsorship and CSR at S8 Capital, a multidisciplinary holding company that includes Stoloto. She stressed that "the Easter edition of the Russian Lotto has become a symbol of the fact that it is impossible to lose by helping others."
In 2025, the third charity Easter edition of the Russian Lotto was held. As in previous years, 10 rubles from each ticket sold were sent to Russia's largest Orthodox relief service, Mercy, for charitable purposes. In total, more than 30 social projects across the country received support from the Easter edition of 2025.
Over the past three years, more than 153.7 million rubles have been raised as part of Easter draws for charity: 58.6 million in 2023, 46.4 million in 2024 and 48.7 million in 2025. Over 120 projects received support from the Easter editions of the Russian Lotto in 2023 and 2024. They also include those for which the collection of donations on the church charity platform "Let's Help" was previously opened.
