CPC announced the imminent completion of the repair of VPU-3 at the terminal
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) is currently completing the repair of one of the outrigger mooring facilities. This was announced on January 21 by the company's press service.
"The device was damaged after a targeted terrorist attack by a crewless boat. The degree of damage to the device precludes its further operation," the CPC Telegram channel says.
It is noted that despite the difficult weather conditions, CPC specialists are completing the repair of VPU-3 and preparing for the dismantling of VPU-2. At the moment, a partial replacement of underwater hoses and cargo system hoses is underway at VPU-3, she added. "Газета.Ru ".
On November 29, last year, the CPC press service reported damage to one of the company's berths as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) with unmanned boats. In response to the incident, loading and other operations at the terminal were stopped. At the same time, the tankers have been diverted outside the CPC water area.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on December 1 that Ukraine's strikes on oil tankers in the waters of Turkey and the CPC proved the essence of the Kiev regime. In addition, he called these attacks egregious, as they were directed against the CTC— an object of international importance and participation.
