"In 2025, parents in the capital gave newborn boys such unusual names as Prokhor — 14, Korney — 13, Lavrenty — 12, Mars — 12, Trofim — 12," RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

In addition, she noted the following male names: Emelian — 9, Thomas — 7, Khariton — 7, Svyatogor — 6, Methodius — 3, Grach — 2, Yenisei — 2, Tor — 2, Frol — 1, Yaropolk — 1.
