Rostec has sent IMR-3M barrier engineering vehicles to the troops
Uralvagonzavod Concern of Rostec State Corporation has handed over another batch of IMR-3M barrier engineering vehicles to the Russian Ministry of Defense. This was announced on January 21 by the company's press service on its website.
It is specified that the armored vehicles were created on the basis of the T-90 tank, equipped with an electronic warfare system and additional anti-drone protection. According to the press service, the machines are capable of paving the way through a windfall, a stone ridge and virgin snow. In addition, the equipment can, among other things, create passages in minefields, fill trenches and craters, cut down trees and uproot stumps.
"The IMR-3M was delivered to the front line during 2025, and there are orders for this year. <...> The IMR-3M is indispensable for major offensive breakthroughs," said a military spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry.
On January 1, Uralvagonzavod Concern sent the final batch of T-90M "Breakthrough" tanks to the Russian Army as part of the fulfillment of the state defense order for 2025. Along with the tanks, tactical first-aid kits were sent to the troops, as well as drawings and wishes to the military personnel from the children of the concern's employees.
