Sakhalin authorities to send equipment to Kamchatka to clean snow after cyclone
Sakhalin authorities will send 10 units of snow removal equipment to Kamchatka to eliminate the effects of the cyclone. This was announced on January 21 by the regional government.
"We responded to our colleagues' request for help at the first request. We are sending highly passable snowplows to Kamchatka — rotary snowplows, graders and loaders, which are especially in demand when dealing with the consequences of heavy snowfalls," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.
It is noted that the equipment will be loaded on board the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations and sent to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
