Slutsky proposed to establish a single standard for student dormitories in Russia
On January 21, Leonid Slutsky, Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party, proposed to legislate a single standard for student dormitories.
"We need a set of clear requirements that can be verified and for which we can ask. We should start by reducing the density of living and increasing the space for living," the TASS news agency quoted.
According to Slutsky, three people should live in one room.
In addition, it is necessary to introduce transparent mechanisms for monitoring the cleanliness of rooms, as well as provide dormitories with full-fledged electrification with a sufficient number of secure outlets and stable high-speed Internet.
