The wife of swimmer Svechnikov stated the similarity of the found body with her husband.

The wife of Russian swimmer Nikolai Svechnikov, who disappeared almost five months ago during a swim, declared the complete similarity of the body found in the Bosphorus with her husband. She told RBC about this on January 21.

According to her, she was not allowed to face-to-face identification, having shown only photographs.

"Unfortunately, they were not allowed to identify the body in person. They were allowed in only by photos. It looks like 100%," said Svechnikova.

She added that she plans to travel with her parents in the near future for further procedures and final identification confirmation.
