The idea of extending kindergarten hours to eight p.m. needs to be evaluated, as it has its advantages and disadvantages. This was announced on January 21 by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Deputy President of the Russian Academy of Education Gennady Onishchenko.
"I think this will give moms and dads an opportunity to earn money to some extent <...> But we need to calculate everything. Because all staff should be paid for extended working hours," RIA Novosti quoted the agency as saying.
