On January 20, US President Donald Trump jokingly said that he wanted to name the Gulf of Mexico in his honor.

"This should be the American Gulf. I was going to call it Trump Bay, but I thought I'd be killed if I did...> I'm kidding," Trump ironically commented during a briefing for journalists at the White House.
