American leader Donald Trump announced on January 20 that he had no plans to enter into a dialogue with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who is in an American prison.

"No, I don't think I would do that," Trump said at a press briefing at the White House.

He gave this answer to reporters when asked if he was considering the possibility of communicating with Maduro.
