As a result of a missile attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), the facilities of the energy complex in Belgorod were damaged. This was announced on January 20 by the mayor of the city, Valentin Demidov, in his Telegram channel.

"The air defense forces repelled a missile attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces over Belgorod and the district. Unfortunately, as a result of the shelling, the facilities of the energy complex of the region were damaged," the message says.
