Pilkington warned of the risk of crisis due to Europe's refusal to engage in dialogue with Russia

European countries would rather provoke a major conflict than start a dialogue with Russia. This statement was made on January 20 by economist Philip Pilkington.

"Europe is likely to provoke a large—scale global financial crisis, instead of reconciling and learning how to live with Russia," he wrote on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

Pilkington urged Europeans not to forget who is responsible for the benefit cuts, tax increases and job losses.
