On January 20, US President Donald Trump announced that he intends to introduce the head of the Venezuelan opposition, Maria Corina Machado, into the processes related to the situation in the Latin American country.

"Maybe we can get her [Machado] involved somehow. I would be very happy if this happened," Trump said during a briefing for reporters at the White House.
