Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov held a major final press conference on the results of diplomatic activity in 2025 and key trends in world politics. The event, which lasted about three hours, was attended by about 250 journalists, mostly foreign ones.

Lavrov said that Moscow has always demonstrated goodwill for a settlement, but the West has repeatedly disrupted agreements.

"Europe blew its chance for the first time, sorry for the harsh word, in February 2014, when it could not force the opposition to fulfill the terms of the agreement guaranteed by Europe," the minister said.
