The attempt to make Ukraine the main topic of the World Economic Forum in Davos has failed. This was announced on January 20 by Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF).

"The attempt to make Ukraine the main topic of Davos has failed," Dmitriev wrote on his Telegram channel.

On the same day, Ukrainian journalist and blogger Anatoly Shariy announced that the speech of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky at the World Economic Forum in Davos had been canceled.

The Politico newspaper reported on January 19 that at the annual session of the World Economic Forum in Davos, the topic of Ukraine may fade into the background due to the discussion of the situation around Greenland. European politicians initially planned to focus on the prospects for peace talks on Ukraine, but the main focus, according to sources, will be on Trump's statements about the possible acquisition of Greenland.
