Tula region will receive almost 300 million rubles for sports facilities
In 2026, the Tula Region will receive more than 294 million rubles for the construction of sports facilities. The money will come from the federal budget. This became known during the presentation of the Athlete of the Year award on Tuesday, January 20.
As the TSN24 correspondent reports, we are talking about the construction of modular facilities. This is the first digital center in the region, which will be located in Tula, a martial arts hall in Plavsk and a gym in the village of Teploe.
Next, five zones will be set up for the delivery of TRP standards — in Tula, Suvorov, the villages of Kurkino, Cherny and Teploe. Three more "smart" sports grounds will be located in the regional center, Novomoskovsk and the village of Zaoksky.
There is also information that construction of a training ice arena will begin in Tula in 2026. The facility will be built as part of a regional program.
Earlier it was reported that the principle of installing playgrounds will be reviewed in the Tula region. Now, when deciding where to equip a play area, the number of families with children is taken into account.
