In Russia, they proposed to allow free parking at pharmacies
In Russia, it was proposed to allow free parking for 15 minutes in paid places near pharmacies. State Duma deputies from the New People faction sent a letter with such an initiative to Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin, TASS reported on January 20.
The deputies proposed to introduce such a measure in all regions of Russia. According to the idea, pharmacy visitors should be exempt from paying in parking lots in the city, located in the immediate vicinity of pharmacy organizations, as well as regardless of the form of ownership of pharmacies and the time of day.
As the parliamentarians noted, now citizens who need to stop by for medicines for a short time and park for 5-10 minutes at a pharmacy have to pay for a short stop as for a full hour of parking. It is believed that the implementation of this initiative will reduce social tensions and increase the availability of pharmacy services in large cities.
Earlier, on January 19, it was reported that a bill was submitted to the State Duma, which proposes to exempt large families from paying for paid parking in Russia. His adoption of the bill will reduce the burden on the budget of a large family and ensure equal guarantees for them throughout the Russian Federation, the authors of the document noted.
