A bicycle courier was injured in an accident involving a tram that occurred in the south-east of Moscow. This was announced by the press service of the Moscow Metro on Tuesday, January 20.

The accident involving a bicycle courier and a tram following route No. 12 occurred around 12:00 p.m. on Ball Bearing Street (near the TSNIITMASH bus stop).

"According to preliminary data, the bike courier crossed the tram tracks without making sure there was no approaching tram. The bike courier has been hospitalized," the Moscow City News Agency reports.

The accident caused the delay of trams No. 12 and 43. Their routes were temporarily changed due to the incident, Moscow 24 writes.
