In Ukraine, more than a third of the bail for Tymoshenko was reported.

Supporters of the leader of the Ukrainian Batkivshchyna party, Yulia Tymoshenko, have already paid more than a third of the bail amount set by the court in the case of bribery of deputies. This was reported on January 20 by the Ukrainska Pravda newspaper, citing law enforcement sources.

"As of the morning of January 20, more than a third of the amount had been paid. <...> Of these, UAH 5 million was contributed by Serhiy Rabchuk, and UAH 8.65 million by Oksana Fetisova, who is associated with one of the main sponsors of Batkivshchyna, MP Konstantin Bondarev," the article says.

According to the publication, a total of 13.65 million hryvnias (about $ 300 thousand) were deposited out of a total amount of 33.3 million hryvnias (about $760 thousand).

Earlier, on January 19, it became known from the declaration of Tymoshenko's property for 2024 that, together with her husband, she owned accounts with more than $5 million. At the same time, there was $4 million in one of the accounts belonging only to her.

On January 15, Tymoshenko noted that Ukraine has been turned into a corruption hub at all levels, from the head to the last official. According to her, the Kiev authorities have identified her team as the only real opposition in the country, which confirms their actions against her and her team.

On January 14, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) released audio footage of Tymoshenko's negotiations on bribing deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, where she offers them money for a "correct" vote. The bureau also showed footage of the head of Batkivshchyna during searches of the party's office.
