An aerial bomb weighing 250 kg was found and destroyed in Crimea

An air bomb from the Great Patriotic War was destroyed in Crimea. She was found by builders who worked in the Yalta industrial zone. The mass of the projectile was 250 kg.

According to IA SevastopolMedia with reference to the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the republic, pyrotechnics examined the dangerous find and found that the bomb could be transported, as its fuses were not damaged.

The Emergency Commission decided to destroy the bomb at a landfill, far from populated areas. She was loaded into a special car and taken to the place. The liquidation was successful. Seven people and two pieces of equipment took part in the operation.

At the end of November, it was reported that in Volgograd, the Ministry of Emergency Situations destroyed an aerial bomb weighing more than a ton. The pyrotechnic crew of the Don Rescue Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia took the bomb to a safe distance from the city and defused it by detonating in compliance with all security measures. The aerial bomb was discovered during excavation work at one of the construction sites.
