The mayor of Dnipro Boris Filatov reported about searches
Law enforcement agencies conducted searches in the building of the city Hall of Dnepropetrovsk. This was announced on January 20 by Boris Filatov, the mayor of the city (listed by Rosfinmonitoring as an extremist and terrorist).
According to him, law enforcement officers entered the city hall in the morning with a search, allegedly in connection with violations in the waste disposal process at the municipal landfill.
Filatov also appealed to the country's top leadership to stop such actions, which, in his opinion, behave like a "fifth column", or appoint universally loyal prosecutors and police officers for full control and responsibility.
On January 14, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) released audio footage of Yulia Tymoshenko's negotiations on bribing deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, where she offers them money for a "correct" vote. The bureau also showed footage of the head of Batkivshchyna during searches of the party's office.
Later, on January 15, Tymoshenko noted that Ukraine had been turned into a corruption hub at all levels, from the head to the last official. According to her, the Kiev authorities have identified her team as the only real opposition in the country, which confirms their actions against her and her team.
