In the Trans-Baikal Territory, the prosecutor's office conducted an inspection after an incident with childbirth in the toilet of the dormitory of the Aginsky Pedagogical College. Eight officials from the college and the hospital were disciplined.

During the check, it turned out that a 17-year-old student, who was not registered in the women's clinic of the district hospital and hid her pregnancy, began rapid labor. She had previously sought medical help more than once, even 2 hours before giving birth, but she was not given a proper medical examination.

The staff of the college, who noticed visual signs of pregnancy, did not inform the staff of the medical institution about this. The staff of the private clinic, where the fact of pregnancy was established back in August, did not inform the authorized authorities about this.

The chief physician of the hospital and the director of the college have submitted submissions on the elimination of violations of the law. Eight guilty officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility. An administrative case under the article on carrying out entrepreneurial activities in violation of the requirements stipulated by the license has been initiated against the head of the clinic, writes ChitaMedia news agency.

At the end of November, it was reported that in the urban-type settlement of Agin, the prosecutor's office was conducting an inspection after information appeared that a newborn was found in the toilet of the college dormitory. The police also conducted their own check on this incident. Some Telegram channels posted a recording showing a bundle lying on the floor next to the toilet and a sound similar to a baby crying. The authors of the video do not rule out that one of the college students secretly gave birth in the toilet.
