The United States has not yet implemented the decision to release two Russian sailors from the seized Mariner vessel. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference on January 20 following the results of Russian diplomacy in 2025.
"Them (Russian sailors. — Ed.) there are two. <..."We were assured, in fact, on the same day or in the morning that the decision to release them was taken at the highest level, but unfortunately in recent days it has shown that this decision is not being implemented," Lavrov said.
