In Yakutia, 4.5 billion rubles will be spent in 2026 to finance drug provision. Of this amount, more than 3.6 billion rubles will come from the republican budget and about 900 million rubles from the federal budget.

At the end of 2025, tenders were held for 1.5 billion rubles. Deliveries have already begun. There are Russian analogues that are no less effective, said the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, on the air of GTRK Sakha.

The head of the region assured that this year the situation with the provision of medicines will be much better than last year. The reason is that the authorities have centralized procurement. If earlier, even in Yakutsk, there was a large spread of prices and assortment across hospitals, now supplies have become centralized, YakutiaMedia news agency quotes Nikolaev as saying.

The head of the region said that transparency and efficiency of procurement are closely monitored by the authorities to prevent disruptions and ensure the availability of medicines to all who need them.

In mid-November, the Ministry of Health denied reports of a shortage of drugs for diabetics. Information about the shortage of medicines for the treatment of diabetes mellitus "Apidra" and "Levemir" is false, both drugs are being steadily introduced into circulation, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Novosibirsk region and the Krasnoyarsk Territory reported. Earlier, information appeared online about the shortage of medicines for diabetics in the Penza and Novosibirsk regions, as well as in Yakutia and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
