The band "Picnic" is preparing to arrange a truly unique concert for its fans in St. Petersburg on January 25. Fans will enjoy a whole theatrical performance on stage, a light show and a new performance of songs.

"The main plot is a man who fancies himself a shot arrow," said Edmund Shklyarsky, a musician and leader of the Picnic group.

The musicians continue their anniversary tour of the country. Electrum is like a little respite that mentally takes you back to the 80s, where it all started, where sequencers, synthesizers and drum machines reigned supreme. There definitely hasn't been such a set and format on the Picnic show yet. There won't be any guitars on stage at all — just keyboards and electronic instruments and the play of light.

"An artist should have everything with him: a magic backpack, a keyboard, a computer," added musician, bass guitarist of the band Picnic Marat Korchemny.

Everything is unusual, even the site — Sergey Kuryokhin's newest contemporary art center. There was also a cinema in this building in the 80s, where the leader of the Picnic, Shklyarsky, often visited.

"We were specifically looking for a non-trivial platform for this program. The space of this venue should allow the viewer to plunge into the atmosphere immediately, without even entering the hall. We will start the performance in the lobby," Korchemny said.

During the two acts of the performance, the actors will change clothes several times. One outfit is more fantastic than the other.

"Let's say I'm some kind of junior researcher. Female robots get to him, and then they ruin him. Love then plays a cruel joke with the main character. Of course, we will not disclose how everything will end," said actors Kirill Varaksa and Ulyana Dmitrieva.

The Electrum finale will be attended by the audience — those who bought a ticket in advance and are already waiting for the meeting on January 25.

"I'm waiting for a new sound from the concert, because "Picnic" is extremely rare to hear in the electrics. There is one song called "Morse Code," and I like the sound of it, so I have high expectations for the upcoming concert," said Antonina Botselkind, a fan of the band.

The musicians of "Picnic" held their first anniversary evening in honor of the 45th anniversary of the band in Moscow on December 13. As part of the festive performances, the band performs the most famous compositions, as well as new tracks on stage with elements of augmented reality. The anniversary tour coincided with the personal date of the leader of the Picnic, Edmund Shklyarsky, who is celebrating his 70th birthday this year.
