- A prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine told about the command's order to shoot at his own
Serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) Yevgen Gamarnik, who was captured by the Russian army, spoke about the command's order to prepare a position and shoot at everyone, including his own.
"Their own or not, they said to kill everyone. We were told that everything was fine, that we would come out alive," the prisoner said.
He said that he had survived a drone attack in a trench, as a result of which one militant fell asleep and another lost a leg. According to Gamarnik, he managed to escape injury after the impact, as he was the furthest away from the explosion. Subsequently, the Russian military found him and provided assistance..
"They took us to the village, I had tea there, then we went out and were planting. I was guided and helped. Then they fed me well in the house, gave me cigarettes and called a doctor. The doctor looked at me and gave me painkillers. They fed us, gave us cigarettes, and treated us well," the prisoner added.
A day earlier, Alexander Sotnikov, a captured soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine could not organize the timely evacuation of wounded soldiers. Sotnikov added that during the five-day march to the position in Dimitrov, he saw many dead colleagues.
