The State Duma proposed to reduce the initial payment on a military mortgage to 10%

The initial payment on a military mortgage can be reduced to 10%. This proposal was made on January 20 by the head of the State Duma Committee on the Development of Civil Society, issues of public and religious associations, Yana Lantratova.

"I consider it advisable to reduce the minimum down payment on military mortgages under the NIS from 20% to 10%. The implementation of this proposal will increase the level of housing provision for the Russian military, strengthen the reputation of the military service and strengthen its social orientation," the TASS news agency quoted her as saying.

According to her, this will not only increase the attractiveness of military service in Russia, but also reduce the number of mortgage arrears.
