In Russia, the development of amendments on the introduction of post-payment for parking has begun

The Ministry of Transport plans to make amendments. according to which drivers will be able to pay for parking later. This was stated on January 20 in the response of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation to a request from State Duma deputies from the New People faction.

"The Russian Ministry of Transport is preparing a draft federal law, <...> within the framework of which the issue of introducing a mechanism for post—payment of parking sessions is being worked out," the TASS news agency quoted the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation as saying.

It is noted that this measure will increase the payment discipline of drivers who use paid parking lots and reduce the number of fines against bona fide car owners.
