Five people were injured when a car was hit in Warsaw
A serious car accident has occurred in Warsaw, as a result of which five people were injured, among them a four-year-old child. This was announced on January 19 by the TVP World agency.
At a major intersection in the Prague-Poludne district, located on the eastern outskirts of Warsaw, two cars collided — a Toyota and a Ford. As a result of the accident, one of the cars overturned and crashed into a pedestrian crossing. Pawel Hmura, a junior officer of the Warsaw police, reported that the Ford car did not give way when turning left.
"As a result, the Toyota overturned and crashed into a pedestrian crossing where there was a woman with a child," the article says.
The city's transportation authorities reported significant traffic disruptions. Several bus routes have been changed due to the work of emergency services and investigators at the scene.
Earlier, on January 16, the Yonhap news agency reported four victims of a bus accident in South Korea. The incident happened at an intersection near Sodaemun Station in Seoul, next to the office of Nonghyup Bank.
