Four-time Olympic biathlon champion Alexander Tikhonov announced on January 19 that he would like to receive a pension of half a million rubles.

"There are very few of us Olympic champions on the globe. I think it would be possible to give a pension of 500 thousand [rubles]," RIA Novosti quoted the champion as saying.
