The World Curling Federation has allowed the Russian junior national teams to compete with a flag and anthem. This was announced on January 19 by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Olympic Committee Mikhail Degtyarev.

"Junior teams from Russia and Belarus will be able to perform under national flags, in national equipment, with the national anthem and indicating their country," he wrote on the Telegram channel.
