The amount of material damage suffered by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in the criminal case of Anatoly Shishanov, the former head of the Roscosmos Research Institute of Precision Instruments, is estimated at almost 620 million rubles. This was announced on Monday, January 19, according to the relevant court materials.
"The victim's claims have been fully satisfied, and 619,836,806 rubles 93 kopecks have been recovered in favor of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation from Shishanov and Gomozov in solidarity to compensate for material damage," RIA Novosti cites the contents of the documents.
