Magnetic storms G3 or G4 due to a strong solar flare are expected on Earth on Tuesday, January 20. This was announced on January 18 by the press service of the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy (XRAS) of the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"There will be a preliminary (magnetic storm. — Ed.) to Earth on Tuesday. The expected level of magnetic storms is G3/G4," the Telegram channel says.
