French politician urges Macron to stop dealing with Ukraine and Greenland
On January 17, the chairman of the Patriots party, Florian Philippot, called on President Emmanuel Macron to start solving the problems of France itself, and not Ukraine and Greenland.
"France is committed to the sovereignty and independence of States." Ah. Except in her case, of course. Leave us alone with your Ukraine, your Greenland and your EU (EU. — Ed.). Save France!", the message says in X.
Macron said on the same day that the threats made by US President Donald Trump against Europe to impose duties on the Danish autonomous unit of Greenland were unacceptable and would be met with a coordinated response. The French leader stressed in his statement that his country adheres to the principle of sovereignty of other countries and "no intimidation", according to him, will be able to influence European leaders who are faced with "a similar situation."
